Stefan Cvijetan has completed his four-year Masters in Practice of Osteopathic Manipulative Sciences (M.OMSc) at the Canadian Academy of Osteopathy. Stefan is in good standing with the Ontario Osteopathic Association (OOA). His prior background includes a Bachelor’s of Health Studies (BHS) with a focus in Kinesiology and Health Policy from York University.  Stefan is also a certified Sports Nutritionist and Strength and Conditioning Coach having  taken part in the Sports Rehabilitation program at Washington State University.

I first experienced Osteopathy referencing texts written by Dr. Andrew Taylor Still in a collaborative paper discussing conditions of circulation leading to dysfunction of the human framework. I was pulled by the philosophy and application of manual therapy in facilitating health. Never did I imagine several years later to be walking into what would be my first Osteopathic Treatment to help address my long-term cardiovascular issues. I always strived to work in health care and there are few humbling moments when one realizes there is more to learn. Osteopathy is a “whole-listic” non invasive manual therapy that understands the bodies’ ability to self heal and self regulate. When the framework is appropriately taken care of via the soft and hard tissues, all intricate systems from nerves, arteries, veins and lymphatics stand a better chance in helping you recover. We are more than just back pain and hope to help you in complement with other modalities.
