I first experienced Osteopathy referencing texts written by Dr. Andrew Taylor Still in a collaborative paper discussing conditions of circulation leading to dysfunction of the human framework. I was pulled by the philosophy and application of manual therapy in facilitating health. Never did I imagine several years later, walking into what would be my first Osteopathic Treatment to help address my long-term cardiovascular issues. I always strived to work in health care and there are few humbling moments when one realizes there is more to learn. Osteopathy is a “whole-listic” non-invasive manual therapy that understands the body’s ability to self-heal and self-regulate. When the framework is appropriately taken care of via the soft and hard tissues, all intricate systems from nerves, arteries, veins and lymphatics stand a better chance of helping you recover. We are more than just back pain and hope to help you in complement with other modalities.
